PROGRAMME 1 - PREPARING FOR MATERNITY LEAVE

FOR FIRST TIME WORKING MUMS

You’re having a baby, that’s amazing!! Congratulations :) While your head might be filled with buggy research and birth plans, an area people are often less prepared for is how becoming a mum will impact their careers.  At this exciting, unique time, we want to provide you with the tools you need to leave work in the best possible place and to establish the working life you want waiting for you when you return.

There are a few things we believe in:

  • Your career hopes, desires and ambitions do not disappear when you become a mum. They just evolve in richness and meaning as you incorporate your new family member

  • Working mums bring unique, necessary and valuable skills to the workplace

  • Being prepared for the challenges of balancing family and career is the best way to continue your success

Vilo Sky’s Preparing for Maternity Leave group coaching programme provides you with the space you need to reflect on your role as a working mum. We will discuss how you want to leave work, and what might matter to you whilst you’re away. Do you want to be kept in mind for potential promotions? How often would you like to communicate with work? Will you use your Keeping In Touch days, and what work/life balance do you hope to have when you return?

Our 6-session programme runs over a period of 12 weeks, allowing you to share your hopes, dreams, questions and concerns with other future working mums. Our wonderful coaches have children too and have been exactly where you are, so they are in the best possible position to guide you on the path towards career and family success.
